I kept the outside detail of the building the same as I quite liked it and it wasn't necessary to any of my ideas for it to be different.
I chose to keep the brick walls in the boat shed because I quite liked them. I added wooden floors because growing up we built a few of our own houses and they all had the same style wooden floors, made from recycled wooden floors.
My boat shed is a place for me to escape within the city. It is a place where I can go and relax by reading or where I can work on photos.
I decided to have quite a simple layout because I like negative space.
For my sketch I wanted to show an important aspect of my boat shed which I hadn't shown previously in detail. I decided to draw a close up of some of the books I love as that is a part of who I am since growing up reading was always an important part of my family.
